Introduction
This highly interactive workshop is a collaboration between Ontario Pharmacists Association (OPA) and the University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy (UW). It is designed to revolutionise pharmacy operations for minor ailment services. Minor ailment prescribing services have been available in Ontario, Canada for over three years. This workshop will highlight the wins and challenges in Ontario and how these insights can be adapted into any jurisdiction where pharmacists offer minor ailment prescribing (MAP) services. It will equip the delegate with strategies to identify inefficiencies, streamline operations, and enhance patient care. This workshop is intended to help the delegate build competence and confidence in providing minor ailment and other extended scope services in community pharmacy settings.

Take home messages
Apply a standardized approach to assessing patients and managing concerns in the provision of MAP services.
Develop a plan to leverage tools, technology, and effective teamwork to increase provider confidence and competence, thereby improving the safety, quality, and efficiency of MAP.
Registration
The workshop is accessible with pre-registration only via the regular congress registration. Costs are € 25 for FIP members and non-members.
Delegates will need to bring a laptop or iPad/tablet with WiFi access to the in-person workshop to participate in the technology & tools (MAPflow) section of the agenda.
