Introduction:
Specialty medications — used to treat complex conditions such as cancer, autoimmune diseases, multiple sclerosis, hepatitis, and HIV—require dedicated clinical expertise and specialised pharmacy models. These therapies are high-cost, involve intensive monitoring, and demand operational systems that often vary significantly by region.
This panel will feature specialty pharmacy leaders from Canada, the UAE and the USA. Together, they will share global perspectives on specialty pharmacy practices, including clinical management, operational structures, quality standards, and patient care models unique to their regions.
Attendees will gain practical insights, real-world strategies, and cross-regional comparisons to support strengthening specialty pharmacy programmes and optimising patient outcomes. Panelists will respond to targeted questions in each category, offering actionable recommendations and lessons learned from their respective health systems.
Programme:
Panellists:
Dr. Jill Paslier, Specia, USA
Dr. Idan Reichhardt, Sanavie, Canada
