Learning objectives: 1. Reflect on strategies to activate and mobilize pharmacy teams through education and training - enhancing pharmacists’ ability to confidently address vaccine hesitancy and recommend vaccination—while motivating teams to take ownership of vaccination initiatives through a proactive, team-based approach. 3. Share insights, case studies, and examples from around the world to support the implementation of effective vaccination services and optimize readiness and engagement for the upcoming respiratory season. Take home messages: This interactive discussion will underscore the burden of vaccine-preventable respiratory diseases and highlight the critical role of pharmacists in delivering effective vaccination services to address public health needs. Pharmacists play a key role in protecting eligible adults against these infections. They are well positioned to identify patients who would benefit from vaccinations, build vaccine confidence through education, and administer vaccines where permitted. However, activating pharmacy teams and implementing a vaccination service can be challenging. A panel of pharmacy leaders with hands-on experience will guide you through common obstacles and share practical solutions for delivering effective respiratory vaccination services. They will engage participants in discussion, share experiences and resources, and offer inspiration through case studies and real-world examples from around the world.
