Introduction:
In this session, participants will explore real-world challenges of safe and responsible antibiotic access. The session will focus on practical strategies to harmonise antimicrobial stewardship efforts and enhance collaboration between community and hospital settings. Special attention will be given to the pivotal role of pharmacists across both sectors, alongside other key stakeholders involved in promoting appropriate and safe antimicrobial use and its accessibility. Through the integration of community and hospital settings, healthcare systems can improve treatment outcomes, reduce the spread of resistance, and ensure equitable access to life-saving therapies for all patients.
