Introduction
Denmark has an impressive healthcare system that guarantees equal access to hos-pital treatments and general practitioner services for all citizens, free of charge. Ad-ditionally, most medications for chronic conditions receive subsidies, with the system designed to support those who need the most medication the most. Pharmacists in Denmark are key players in the healthcare sector. You can find them working in com-munity pharmacies, hospital pharmacies, or even in nursing home. But the majority of Danish pharmacists are employed in the medical industry, which sets Denmark apart from many other countries.
