During this session, you’ll step into the shoes of a detective to investigate how widespread micronutrient inadequacies are silently eroding public health – and will emerge equipped to champion nutrition-driven action in your pharmacy practice. Case briefing: • As pharmacists, you are trusted healthcare providers – but you’ve inherited a tough case. • Despite longer lives, we are living the last ~9 years of in poor health. Efforts to shift health habits from reactive to proactive matter more than ever. • Current pharmacy education also largely overlooks nutrition especially the role of micronutrients supporting health. You’ll gather practical, everyday solutions that you can use to help assess this in your practice.
